Maria Haug
Maria Haug is the Accountant/Support Staff specialist with the United Way of Douglas & Pope Counties.
Maria received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with an Emphasis in Criminal Justice from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND.
She loves her job! Not only does she have a career that she loves, but she is able to give back in the community by helping with the monthly food drops, distributing backpacks full of school supplies, produce from gardens and toys during Christmas for those families that may not access to those items.
In addition to serving on the DRAA Diversity Training Team, Maria enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, volleyball, music, spending time on the beach and anything else that involves being outside.
A native of Alexandria, Maria lives with her husband, Eric, and their two little girls.
