Steve Pederson
Steve Pederson is the owner of Pederson Farms, a grain & livestock operation near Farwell, MN. Pederson also received his Airframes & Powerplants mechanic license from Dakota Aero Tech in Fargo ND.
In addition to his work with on his farm, Pederson is very active in the Minnesota community. He serves on the Executive Administration team of Diversity Resource Alliance and is the Vice Chair of the City of Alexandria’s Cultural Inclusiveness Committee. He also participates in many projects with the Facing Race Initiative and is a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Community Action Diversity Council.
A native of Farwell, Pederson lives with his wife, JoAnn, and his two kids. Pederson and his wife adopted two African American kids. As parents of African American children living in rural Minnesota, he wants to share his personal story and help increase awareness about acceptance and tolerance of diversity.
